Popling Chrome Extension v.29Beta

Install the Popling for Chrome extension.

Install Steps

  1. Install Popling for Chrome here.
  2. Add your Popling username in the options (Get an account here.)
  3. Save Preferences
  4. Allow Notifications at the top of the browser
  5. Close Options
  6. Whew! We are done! Popling will now show you a notification every few minutes.

What the Extension Does

Once every few minutes (you choose how often) the extension will display a notification with a question from a flash card. If you aren't busy, click the notification and learn something new, no motivation required. If you are busy, ignore it, it'll go away.

Extension FAQs

Set popling to 'Pop' as often as you like:

  1. In Chrome's main menu, go to Windows > Extensions
  2. Find Popling in the Extensions list and click Options
  3. Change time and click Save Preferences

Uninstall the Popling Add-on:

  1. In Chrome's main menu, go to Windows > Extensions
  2. Find Popling in the Extensions list
  3. Click uninstall on the right

Turn Popling on and off temporarily:

  1. Click the Popling icon in the extension bar
  2. Click 'Pause Popling' or 'Start Popling'
  3. The logo will change colors: red = off, green = on
